        For my ancient civilization I did Ancient India. I learned about the geography, agriculture, culture & religion, tools and technology and important leaders. It was really interesting!

          Geography- Ancient India is on the tropic of cancer so their land was very tropical meaning it was very moist and because of this they had very good planting sources. One of the main rivers to be used in ancient India was the Indus River in the north-west. India is surrounded by the Himalaya Mountains. The Mongols could never steal food from them because of these mountains.

          Agriculture- Ancient India people grew rice, wheat, barley, peas, and cotton. They raised sheep, goat, cattle, pigs and horses. They had homes that were made out of mud, sticks, and grass.

         Tools & Technology- Ancient India people had bow and arrows to go hunting, they had stone scrapers to carve and shape the wood for the bow and arrow, they had pebbles to soften up their pottery, they had a knife sort of thing to cut leather, & they had boats to go fishing in. Aryabhatta was someone that thought of 0 and the decimal system.

Culture & Religion- In Ancient India, fine arts became part of their culture. Music and dance was part of those arts. New forms of dances music came into being. Music was joined in by instruments to provide rhythm. Dances required costumes, jewelry, and make-up. Dances were usually performed in temples. Theatre also originated in Ancient India, people acted out scenes of their daily life like, hunting or fishing. Ancient India people’s religion was either Hindu or Buddhist. Hindu believed that if you were bad in this life then in your next life you would become a gnat or fly. So they also believed life never ended. You would die then come back in a different form of life. Buddhist believed in Buddha. The first Buddha was Siddhartha Gautama. He lived around 600 B.C. Once Buddha died they picked a new child to be the next Buddha.

           Important Leaders- The only leader I could find was Asoka. Asoka was a famous king of Ancient India. He won several battles to widen his kingdom.

 Ancient India is very fascinating to me. I learned so much about the geography, agriculture, culture & religion, tools and technology and important leaders. They’re really cool!

Pluto (the dog) and pluto (the planet)

Pluto (the dog) was so, so, so excited, he was going to be an astronaut!!! Just kidding, he is just going to the planet pluto. ( dun, dun,dun) MIckey Mouse and MInnieare his parents and they are all going to pluto together. Funny fact- plutos favorite planet is pluto . This was pluto life long dream, and he was blown away when he found out.

Narrator- back story to when pluto found out that he was going to fulfill his life long dream.

One day when pluto got home from doggie pre-shool, he stalked into the house and saw his parents at front door about to explode! Pluto and his parents walked inside, pluto put down his backpack and sat diwn ith his parents on the couch. His parents all blurted out, " were going to pluto." pluto said, "your going inside of me, how rude!" " no honey we are going to planet pluto, not inside of you," his parents answered. "oh." And pluto left the front room and went to his room showing no emotion but excited to the bone.

Narrator- So that is how pluto found out that he was going tohis favorite planet!

Pluto, Mickey, and MInnie were leaving tomorrow! Pluto could not wait any longer! As helay in bed that night he could not fall asleep, so he just sat there for eight hours. He was daydreaming about Hamme his (practically girlfriend) best friend!

When he woke up the next morning he ran, got ready, and went to the car where his parents were wIting for him. The drive to he airport was awesome, his dad bought him an egg Mc. Muffin at Mc Donalds (his favorite) and he let him sit in shotgun. Side note- Mickey never let him sit in the front.

They arrived at the air port and everything went fine until they went through security adn the alarm epwent off when Pluto stepped through. He stuffed a bone in his collar, how rediculous. So they had to go through all of the cop stuff and ya. Anyway when they got on the rocket he got way excited because the rocket was amazing! There was a bunch of dialsand buttons to push but, he was told that if he touched them then je was going to be in big du du.

" 3, 2, 1" the announcer said and BOOMthe rocket was off the ground and in the air! However longit takes to get to Pluto later........ " were here," Pluto said! He was jumping upand down, up and down.

Narrrator- as you can tell PLuto is a little crazy!

Pluto fainted because hewas a little to excited! So when he woke up Mickey, Minnie, andPluto went to their hotel. They checked in , Minnie had hold Pluto because he wasnt walking he was just staring at everything.

That whole week the three of them went swimming, looked at stars and asteriods zooming past,watched movies, and went to amusement parks. They also saw a museum and did the basics slept, ate, and drank.

Then came Monday, they left and came back to Earth and went onwith life. Pluto was sad to leave but, he willl always keep that memory.

Weekly writing

In my own opinion three qualities in a leader would be:

Honesty, honesty is what we need in a leader. If the leader was not honest he could take, steal or even hurt people to get money and make sure no one knows about it.

The second quality is energy i would think that the leader would need a lot of this to keep up with everyone and everything that is going on at the time. It would help people to get jobs and then more money can be made by the country and the population would go up, it might even help the economy.

The third and final quality for a leader is that they should have good ideas and a good perspective on things, then he could know where to build buildings, where the enviorment needs help and what would help America.

Just to sum it up I've talked about what good qualities a leader could have and what they could do to help America.

Weekly Writing

Three words that describe a good leader would be trustworthy, intelligent, and positive. Having a leader without trust is like putting your faith in an orange, you can't put your hopes in an untrustworthy leader. A good trustworthy leader would be Abraham Lincoln or Honest Abe. If he isn't a good leader who is?! When you work with people you want to have trust.

A good leader is intelligent all the time. A leader needs good reasoning in there choices. You can't have a bad team and a good leader, the leader is the center. Intelligence is one of the most important things in a leader.

A leader who always stays positive is good because he never gives up. Staying positive is the key to success. For example while America was at war with Britain we stayed positive and won. George Washington stayed positive even though he was outnumbered and he won. I believe these things are the most important things in a leader.

When I think os someone that is trustworthy I think of responsibility, reputation, and friendliness.

First is responsibility. If I want to trust someone, I make sure they are responsible. I don't know anyone who isn't responsible that I can trust. Take grades for example. If you don't take responsibility and do your homework, then your grades will drop and you will fail!

Next, is a persons reputation. Reputation is someones history. If someone went to jail and made a lot of bad choices in their life, then you wouldn't want to trust them. Would you want a good reputation and people to trust you? Thats what people look for when they want someone to trust.

Lats, the person should be friendly. When you are talking to someone and they seem angry then you don't feel like you should trust them. If someone is friendly they seem trustworthy. Also they help you when you need help, they are nice, and they go above and beyond when you ask them to do something.

In conclusion, I think trustworthy people should be responsible, have a good reputation, and be friendly.

I think a good leader should have responsibility, respect and a good reputation.

Responsibility is important because, say you have a pet. If you are not responsible enough to give the pet food and water, eventually, the pet will die. So basically, Responsibility is all about taking charge and usually, sometimes taking blame.

Next is respect. There is a saying: " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." If you don't understand this, It's basically saying if you want someone to respect you, you have to respect them. Respect is also listening to someone instead o doing all the talking. I think I need to work on this step a little bit more.

After that, goes a good reputationg. Reputation is basically somebody's past. For example, If a person has graduated from Harvard, They would seem smart. Or if someone did drugs in High school, Then they wouldn't really seem like a good example for others. The better a person's reputation, the more trustworthy they are.

Lastly, I think a good leader would need responsibility, respect and a good reputation.Good leaders are very important. A good example of a good leader is Barrack Obama, Our president. I think he got elected becasue he has responsibility, respect, and a great reputation.

The three things I would want in a leader are. First this person would have to be trust worthy , not only once or twice this has to happen all the time .Yup 100% on the job .Now would you not feel better and safer . I would . If the leader were to do these things I would probably try to follow hem or she .

My second thing that I would like in a leader is .An amazing positive feeling to others at good times .Would you not like to have some one try to cheer you up every once in a while . I know that I would .

Now for the best and last the third thing that i would like in a leader is. That this leader has to be able to stand next to us and not run away at the first sign of trouble .and have bombastic ideas and suggestions .Because you can't follow a leader if he or she have no good ideas or suggestions and you cant follow a leader who is never there.

What I think of a good leader is that you can gain there trust. That they can be nice and they won't back fire on us and they will tell you the truth. They will be helpful and run the place right. Also to have a good attitude.

One, good leaders need to lat you gain there trust, and if you do then you will be fine. They just need to be responsible and trustworthy. What I think is that they need to do what they say they are going to do, and, if they do you can trust them. If a leader goes against what they said then you don't have there trust and you go against them. One good thing about a good leader is that you need to gain there trust, and they need to do what they say they are going to do.

Two, good leaders always need to be nice. If they are rude and always picking on someone then you lose there trust. If they always have a bad attitude and they are being snotty then you can't trust them. A good leader calls you good names and they make you happy so you trust them. A good leaders are nice to you.

Three, good leaders support you in what you are doing. If you do something bad they will help you and make you do the right thing next time. Also if you do something good they would encourage you to do the same thing next time. They always want you doing something good. Same with you; you want your leaders to do good to. Good leaders support you in things you do.

One, leaders never turn there back on you. Two, leaders need to have a good attitude. Three, leaders support you. That is what I think a good leader is.

3 Things All Good Leaders Should Have

Hi, my name is Makenna Lee. So there is a presidential election coming up in Iowa. What do you see in a good leader? How do you gain their trust? Why? Well to me there are 3 things that make a good leader. First they have to be kind, then honest , last they have to be willing to help anyone with anything at any time.

The first reason was to be kind. You don't want somebody mean and rude do you? I know I don't so make sure the person you pick is kind and nice in every way. Another example is if you work for the new president or leader or whatever, and your not having the best day, I don't think you want a mean and rude guy to make it worse. Be careful who you pick!

Next they have to be honest. That is a HUGE thing you want to keep in mind before you vote. Remember the things they say they will do if they get picked because they might not do it BEWARE! To me that is a big thing for trust like if you tell a friend a REALLY embarrassing secret you don't want him/her to tell the whole world do you? I don't think so. KEEP THAT IN MIND.

Last they have t0 be WILLING to help you. If there is a problem with gas or something you want someone to help end your problem. Do you want someone who ignores your problems and yet makes more problems? So make sure they are willing to listen to EVERYTHING that you say. Make sure he REALLY will change the world!

What do you look in a good leader? What are the qualities that you think some one should have to earn your trust? The three qualities that I believe someone should have tow earn my trust are: NOT be exclusive to others, to have a positive about everything and that stands out in a good way, so everyone will know there name.

The number one reason that I think some one should have to earn my trust to not be exclusive to anyone. NO matter what they look like. Maybe if there not that prity or have glasses and braces. That means that they should not be judgemental. So they should be able to walk down the halls and give a smile to everyone, and not glare. This is one of the qualities that I look in a person how will earn my trust.

Another way someone would earn my trust is to have a really positive attitude about everything. Like if they have to help someone take out the trash or do some act of serves, they will have a smile on there face, and the smile will not be fake just to make the other person feel good, when they really don't want to be there. They will always be willing to share there opinion about anything, and should be able to help anyone in there time of need.

When they pass down the halls of the school or down the rode everyone and mean every one will know there name and will have a smile on there face.

That is the kind of person that I would vote for and will be really trust worthy.

Characteristics of a good leader

To be a good president or leader you would have to be organized and structured. If the leader was structured then they could focus on their job. That would help everyone. Because then they would not slack off as much. So the leader would more professional.

They would also need to be responsible. Why would you trust someone to run your country if they were not responsible? Responsibility is a main characteristic that would make a good leader Someone that is responsible would keep our country safe. they would be in ch arge and do a better job. You would need to be responsible for almost everything in life to be successful.

Also to be a successful leader they must be considerate and open minded. A leader has to be open minded to new ideas, because sometimes people will have different ideas that the leader may not like. A good leader will be considerate of new ideas. They also should be patient with ideas and with people they work with.

Leaders should be organized structured, and prepared for anything. The leader should be responsible and mature for their jobs. they finally need to be considerate and open minded for things they may not agree with.

Are new leader

I'm writing today to tell what i think a good leader should do to earn trust . first they should be hardworking , willing to set things right for America not some person that doesn't have any idea what to do who is just going to have people sit and feed them grapes.
Second they should be smart and be able to think things through correctly,to think around things like how we can stop the polar ice caps from melting or how to stop oil spills.
Now that is a good leader OK for three they should have some energy to run around from place to place protecting people from outrageous people, that don't have a life and blame other citizens for it .

OK forth they should make people happy when they pass even if the person isn't filling all that amazing they should be outgoing ready to make the people happy for what ever is coming their way.

A Good Leader

I think a good leader should be trustworthy,brave, and smart.

If he or she were trustworthy, the country would be less destructive. Also we would know exactly what the leader is doing. Imagine if we didn't know anything that's going on!

A good leader would be brave. He or she would deal with anything that's coming for them. He or she wouldn't run away from the problem. They would fight for us.

The most important part of a good leader is being smart. A leader who spent their years studying at collage. A leader who got a diploma or degree. Not a leader who knows nothing. Who refuses to do something. They should be intelligent. I think a good leader should be trustworthy, brave, and smart.

Good Leader Helper

For the next president as example, I'd like him to have good energy! Good energy could excite the people cause of the happy expression that's going around. Plus the good energy is like having a positive attitude, it's making you feel great so you can make the people feel great. Plus with good energy your not tired so you work hard and get things done with out complaining.

Another thing that would be amazing for the next President, is good choices. They should be faithful in their choice, instead of being nervous, or going with the flow. The people are looking forward to a good year of right decisions! So actually this one could be hard for a leader.

The last thing I would say The next President would need, is setting good examples. See, if the President does something outstanding, the people will be very glad! But if the President does something thats outrages, the people will want to elect for a new President sooner.

A leader should be very careful with its decisions, and to have good energy, as well as setting good examples for their people.

I think my football coach is a good leader. one of the reasons is: he helps with defense. The other reason is because:he is offensive coordinator. My last reason is: he wants to be head coach. he has helped some of our games to be better. He is good on coaching special teams. He let's everybody on our team go in. He makes parents happy. he has been so good with us. He made my football experience a lot better and now I what to become a professional football player. My coach sometimes gets mad at me when I do something wrong , but he's still a good coach. He is one of my favorite coaches he's helped me to be a better running back. I hope my NFL coaches will do the same

Today i'm going to tell you about what i think make a good president. Ok there are three resons that I think would make a good president.The first one is being helpful the next one under standing and the last one working hard each day. Those to me would make a good president or a leader to the country. This will tell you why I think so.

Alright the first one was helpful so i'm to tell you why I think that is imported. If the president was not helpful to the army or country. They would not know what to do if there is a new program and the president was not helpful. Well he would have no clue what to do and fail his misson

There are many qualities an extraordinary leader should have, but I think an honorable leader should be honest, responsible and willing to help you.

First, they should be honest. Because,"honesty is the best policy". And who wants someone that would lie to you. If something happened that could affect a lot of people, you don't want someone to lie about what happened.

Second, they should be helpful. If you have a problem, you would probably like help. You would be able to count on someone to help you. Also, people who help are good role models. And they also better understand the subject.

Third, they should be responsible. Many people chose not to be responsible for their actions and don't take their punishment when they do something wrong. You would be able to trust them to tell the truth and take their punishment.You would also be able to count on them to do their part in an assignment.

I think a good role model and leader should be honest, helpful and responsible.

What I look for in a good leader is being motivated, promise keeper, and is good with people.

I think it is important that our president is motivated because if he or she ran for president, and then became president they would need to be motivated about being president because he or she wanted to be president. I also think that if the president was motivated it would be easier to motivate others.

I think that our president should be a promise keeper because if he or she promised America something huge and then broke his or her promise I'm sure that some Americans would be very upset and sad. I also think keeping promises is a big role in responsibility. And who wants a president that is not responsible.

Last of all, I think our president should be good with people. I think it is important to have a president who is good with people because it is part of their job, and who wants a president that won't help people with what their dealing with.

Well what I think makes a good president is... They need confidence, they also need to stand up for others, and the last thing is to be trustworthy.

To be confident is to faith and be brave, to standup for others is to get of your but and help some one in trouble, and to be trustworthy is to gain more trust from the people and you cant lie to the people. That what I think makes a good president.

What makes a good president?

A good quality would be knowing what your leader has planned for you. When you want to know whats going n you should be able to ask our leader. You also have to be brave enough to ask them. If they don't have a problem with telling you their a good leader. The leader has to know what they are going to do with the problem they're in. The leader always has to keep an eye out for ideas.

Another good quality is being able to talk to your leader without fear. If your'e scared of your leader there will be major problems. If the leader already makes you have a bad feeling then don't vote for him or her. If he/she is elected you might have a problem with the way things are ran. If their not positive with things its not fair.

Make sure understand where they're getting at, so you know whats going on. If that person isn't willing to share they're plan with the world then they might have a bad plan. If the new leader knows that you don't know what he/she is talking about they can take advantage of the situation. Ask a lot of questions so you know what's going to happen in the end. Be persuasive if they won't let you know whats going on.

A good leader should be truthful, and always honest. If they don't tell the truth then how are you suppose to know whats going on in the world. If they can't tell the truth then they shouldn't be a leader. A leader always has to be truthful. He/she needs to have simple ideas they can share with the world not lie about. That's what a good president should be.

I'm going to tell you the thing that would make a good president. The things are: he should be able to do things he says's, he should be a hard worker and need to know how about our government.

Most presidents don't do the things they say they will in the running. He should be able to keep his word and say thing he manes. Also no one would vote for a dishonest president.

He should be a hard worker. He should also be able to work under lots of stress; also know how to use a army

He should know about his job and know all the people working with him. If he doesn't know about our government then he mite make the wrong choice. He should know our government and the history of our country.

I think those are some of the really important makings of a good president.
